I just followed the setup instructions in your tutorial, for my RG-280v after a few months of no use, which had inexplicably stopped working. I saw that as the perfect opportunity to replace the original firmware with the Adam image. The latest version has gone from 1.x to 2.1 -- but your tutorial still works flawlessly, including scraping the images with Skraper. I had no hiccups at all following your instructions. A big thank-you from here in New Zealand.

Great video, as usual! But I would never skip the PS1 intro, it’s just too charming.

Thank you for this! I love my RG350 but had never bothered to look into custom firmware until recently. Should have known you'd already have a video on it, and I've just spent the last few hours setting everything up. Absolutely love this Adam frontend over the previous one, and it's definitely going to get me picking up the 350 a lot more.

Watching your video makes clear the concept of community and the number of people behind all the pieces of the image. Thanks for the video Russ.

I really like what Eduardo has done with this. Even with all the new devices the RG350M still stands out as one of the best. It’s nice to have a nice user friendly UI for it now.

Waiting my RG280V eagerly to use this image so thank you for introducing it to us with your simple guide.

I can't thank you enough Russ for all those vides and guides over your website, they are extremely helpfully and quiet entertaining to listen, a prime example of quality not quantity.

I hope you do guides for cooking in the same structure as you do here for retro handhelds.

Sorry for the long comment but I just wanted to express my gratitude to you, without a doubt this is in my top 5 channels over YouTube.

I don’t post much but I’ve really enjoyed your content and clear instructions, you’ve put a lot of effort into these tutorials and it’s hugely appreciated. This one specifically was timed to absolute perfection and I got setup thanks to you with zero issues. Thanks a lot!

Nice! They did a great job on this image.

I'll also be releasing a new SimpleMenu version soon, and upgrading should be as easy as replacing the opk.

This new image is incredible! I remember spending hours and hours setting up my 350P to get it just how I wanted, transferring files between SD cards and tweaking config files slowly but surely. Having an image like this that is already set up how most people would want it is awesome.

This definitely breathes new life into my aging 350 that I haven't actually played. Brilliant lad. Thanks.

This man has opened so many of those microsd card packages that he has it down to a science. Never thought to try the horizontal rip method. I cut the top dotted line with scissors like an amateur.

Thanks so much for this! I have had the 280V sitting on my shelf for months. It's my first retro emulator and this guide made it exactly was I wanted it to be.

The RG350M was my very first device, but the RG351P and V had replaced it. Inspired by this video, I decided to try this myself. This really breathes new life in the 350M so much that it's now back in action. A couple of snags: I had to unzip files for some of the systems to get the device to recognize them, even though the site indicates they are supported. Also, I did have to set up the analog stick in the Retroarch menu. Minor tinkering, but might still confuse a newcomer. Once again, you and the community that develops these systems greatly enhanced my enjoyment of these Anbernic devices.

Thank you for going back and giving the RG350 some TLC :)

I’ve been meaning to see if any updates have been made on the device since your earlier videos. You saved me so much time.

I think it's HILARIOUS that as a cookbook author your screenscraper username is "onionsaregross". The "easter eggs" in some of your videos are just PRICELESS! :-)

Bought a RG350M today just because of this video. Been wanting something really small for travel, and this is perfect. Thanks!
