And another detail that is being forgotten.. Innocents were injured, traumatized and murdered, and these people encouraging another assassination attempt are indirectly saying 'Some of you may die, but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make.'

That "Firefighter guy" that the Destiny Streamer mentioned died protecting his family from the gunfire at that rally As a firefighter in training myself, I'm legitimately disgusted he would even think of tarnishing that man's character just because he happens to be conservative. As a gun collector, wanting a watchlist for buying 50 rounds of ammo is hilarious. Most boxes of ammo come in packs of 20-100, and in one trip to the range, someone can go through 500 rounds very easily.

The amount of people I considered friends that I now no longer talk to because I realized who they actually were when they wished literal death upon someone just because they disagree with them is insane. I lost 5-10 people that I thought were close friends over this. Their morality is completely screwed.

My best friend is far more left-leaning than I am and hates Trump. We got into a really interesting philosophical conversation the other day where she was saying that people shouldn’t vote for Trump because it sets a bad precedent for making excuses for people’s behavior and it basically ended with me playing devil’s advocate by saying, “people have always made excuses when they think they’re right, that’s unfortunately very human, so nothing has changed. The only major difference is that everything is out in the open now because of social media.” Well, the attempt was the next day and look at all the people who claim to be against guns suddenly making excuses for it because it was Donald Trump at the end of the barrel.
