Love this video so much!! I could spend hours just walking around the woods or sitting listening to all the sounds, birds chirping, leaves and branches rustling in the wind, sound of water. Taking in all the fresh greens and colours and just noticing all the beautiful smells, shapes and textures found in nature! I mostly only get my fill of this when I go camping in the summer. I definitely need to find a space I can visit more regularly to give myself this therapy, I know there are lots of places near me. I am so looking forward to spring and the warmer temperatures, it's been so cold in Toronto the past month. This video is making me crave summer even more now! Thank you for this lovely glimps into your personal ritual! :)

Do you ever freak out about running into bears? When I lived in California, I also hiked in the Santa Monica mountains (where sometimes there were many mountain lion sightings). I remember on one occasion, a beautiful day, perfect climate, I was loving life, and my mind started freaking out that there was a mountain lion watching me. I started to run back towards where I parked my car, but these are dirt trails, rough ones too, and I slipped and slid down the mountain side. Thank God there were these bushes growing out from the mountain because I was able to catch myself on them and stop falling; they were paramount in allowing me to climb back up to the path. Both my legs and arms were covered in blood and I remember passing a woman and her child and they looked at me horrified. And, in the end, although there were no lions watching me, my mind took over because sometimes the serenity of a beautiful trail mixed with real-life media coverage of what's happening around you can get the best of your mental awareness. I always hike with a friend now. Anyway, it's the first thing I thought of watching you and Pepsi. I remember your bear vid and it still freaks me out.

This is so beautiful, thank-you for sharing it with us 😊 With 7 kids and 4 who are too young to watch themselves the only alone time I get is when I'm at work but when it gets a little nice here I'm going to start taking walks and hiking and appreciating nature more. You're right, I think sometimes we get caught up in life that we don't take the time to look at why we are here! Thanks so much for this beautiful video!

In my Spanish class today, my professor showed a video of bullfighting and the run of the bulls. After sitting through those clips, I was furious. I couldn't speak, my voice was shaking and my hands too. My class didn't like it but they also were happy the bulls were hurting humans.
Now I watched Earthlings 14 months ago and that day I also went vegan. Normally I am so good at discussing this stuff and giving veganism a good reputation. But today I have never felt more alone in public.
I heard comments like "at least we don't kill for sport...we eat them." "It's so gruesome what we do to animals BUT they taste so good." "It's chemicals that are making us an obese country, not animal products"
I couldn't speak. I wanted to say so much but nothing came out, I literally can not describe how broken I felt in that moment. I got in my car, literally screamed and hit my steaming wheel, I swore up a mighty storm and then came home. My mom asked what was wrong (she would have said exactly what my classmates were saying since she eats animals). I told her I couldn't talk about it but yet she forced it out of me. Then of course, walked away when I said she wouldn't understand. The only way I could calm down was coming here, to YouTube. Pathetic? Probably. But I needed to comment and at least you guys will understand, I hope.
I know nobody asked for me to share but I honestly have no one who understands this lifestyle and I am so tired of being alone in it. I will never leave this movement, but I need to find vegan friends. ...I had nobody to vent to, so thank you.

Love this. I just wish it wasn't so snowy and rainy where I am!

Love it, Tarah! I do something similar when I ride my bike to a nature preservation area on the lake. This is where connect with nature, it's meditative, and I feel extra happy <3 Can't wait to get out there again when the snow melts from the path XD

I completely agree with this. There is a certain beauty and peace you feel when you venture into an area that not a lot of humans touch on a regular. Love the vids keep them up :D Oh!! I'm on two weeks of a vegan life style. I'm not raw food yet. I'm right now just trying to get used to finding other things to eat besides meat and animal products. Again thanks for the videos

Yes!  I heard once that we suffer from NDD (Nature Deficit Disorder).  Perhaps when we embrace Nature and our connection with it again we won't have to experience dis-ease anymore.  Nature is where the magic is.
