What are some aspects that make people get intimidated by you?

This is so uncannily accurate, it’s scary. When I see myself trying to fit in a box that compromises my values, I get nauseous and can’t wait to get out of it as soon as possible. It’s like trying to fit into a parallel universe.

Yep that’s why im childfree and marriagefree. Also been single for 2 years and honestly don’t think I want to ever be in a relationship again because of the hierarchy and compromise

Some people find it strange that I can connect to people well, but still be content to do my own thing. I had one person say in an insulting way, " you just do your own thing, don't you" and then storm off. I'm like, yeah, and I don't understand why it bothers them so much. It's like they want to be able to do the same thing, but can't for whatever reason, and then get frustrated with me.

You are so young and so aware of who we are as INFJs. We do not need anyone's approval, which irritates the hell out of others. I wish everyone could just accept life and themselves and give some love to those who need it.

I have been told so many times I hold my cards to my chest, I’m aloof
If mine or any one’s boundaries are severely crossed they’re out,
I’ve door slammed 1 person in my life who I adored & still do but not enough to be a doormat .. that decision was not taken lightly it caused me a breakdown but it was needed .

Have been told this in different ways by so many people. "Standoffish " or that I never associate with a "clique ". And I like it this way 😂

the unfiltered truth has been spoken again. Living the segmented live dealing with different "people in boxes". But we have the struggle of dealing with people, who want to put us in a box which people just naturally want to do, but since almost nobody really understand us, they put us in wrong boxes. And when we recognice that someone did this, we or I often dont have the energy to explain myself to them, since even with explaining they cant understand it. So its not worth the energy. Just let them think we are in the box they put us, while in reality being outside of it.

And when they know and want to know you long enough, they might come to the real conclusion of who you are on their own.

I feel like this makes people think we are narcissistic when we're not... yes, we put ourselves first but we do it on our own- we don't put others down so that we can feel good. People like to try and label us and put us down because they feel "less than", because we are doing what is best for us and they don't have the guts to do the same.

i've always thought i'm the weird one..
the odd one out until i learned that i'm an INFJ Heyoka empath and begun understanding myself...
now, i just shrug and say it is what it is.. take it or leave it..

The intimidation is only surface level. Hard exterior at times but soft in the middle. As for myself I read people so well that people just know I see the real them. Without saying a word people will do the right thing around me as if I can see they are being naughty. I do but much of the time I’m not judging or care.

I understand society structure, but what Ive never understood is how people perceive the hierarchies to be real. It it a sensor thing? Is there some aspect of sensing that follows hierarchy? Is it some kind of fear-connection-communication thing between human bodies? I truly dont understand why everyone is abiding by a "fake" power structure when it seems like there is an actual hierarchy that feels REAL to me and its based on psychological strength and capacity for love.
