Glad they used the “Lap” sound effect as a caution.
Sad it was never used in other F-Zero games past the first. That sound effect is iconic.

I come back to watch this video quite frequently. There's just something especially gorgeous about this version of Mute City. I still can't believe they got a stage this complex to work back in 2001.

Wish I could convince more people to play on this stage, but it's like pulling teeth.

My brother and I used to destroy the machines when we could either choose Samus, Falcon or Ganon. One time we decided to just spend the entire match destroying every one of them. Took a while but we did it

I managed to get some of my classmates to lay this. We ended up on 300% Smash, with me as a Marth.

The green hill zone of F zero. When I was a kid I would always pause the game when the machines flew by and look at the designs. That became easier to do on big blue but I preferred the music and the look of this stage a lot more

On rare occasions, one of the racers will completely eat shit and blow up. Turns out that they can also be damaged by fighters, too.

This stage, Poké Floats, Rainbow Road and World 1-2 of Mushroomy Kingdom should have returned in Ultimate! They had no reason to not bring them back and they were all fan favorites (I don't know for World 1-2, but the other 3 stages I mentioned are).
They even renamed the 3DS stage "Mute City SNES", why would they change its name if they didn't bring the Melee version back?

I remember that my sister and i played Training mode in this stage and put many red shells on the track. So that the cars explode and nobody drive anymore. That was fun!
