I have my s22 for 2 weeks now. During that time I was both travelling and now I m quarantining. My point is that I used the phone way more than I normally would. The battery always lasted the whole day, so I can say that I m really happy with my purchase :)

I really enjoy these real world test videos. I follow a lot of tech YouTube. I have already seen the phone reviewed the conventional way, several times, by the time your real world test video comes out. Yet, I watch every single real world test you make.

1) People use their phones while they are out and about. These reviews acknowledge that.
2) As someone in South Africa, it is nice to live vicariously through these kinds of videos and get to see more of the non-Hollywood side on New York and other places. It is unrealistic for me to visit those places any time soon, so it is nice to see them in videos.

Format is awesome as always...i would only add some camera comments by you, as the 4 frames are almost useless for any judgement beyond colour temperature and white balance (at least for my eyes, they're too small to properly evaluate noise, focus, actual details for pixel peepers perverts, etc)

Hi man, good review! I was considering this S22 but that battery life is just unacceptable. My old Exynos S10+ with 3 years of use can get more than 5h of SoT even today! I was expecting similar results with the S22 considering it has a much more efficient chipset. It doesn't seem to be that efficient tho haha. Anyhow, thanks for this info, really appreciated!

Picked up this little guy on sale at Best Buy for $599 and have really enjoyed it so far. Battery life is limited compared to my 12Pro Max but is totally fine for my use case. I recommend this to anyone who isn't a massive power user that doesn't want to top it up during the day.

I want this phone so badly because I love the size but on my s21 I get around 6 hours of screen on time over 5g and 9 on wifi(on 60hz) and from what I hear you only get around 3 on the s22

I've had the phone since launch, great phone but battery life isn't great. Hoping updates will optimize and improve battery life

I`ve noticed your battery informations are the ones which are correct.
Other shows 6-8h SoT, 24h+ last battery.
Normal usage on LTE or 5G in the bright light city 10-15h is the max for 90% of todays phones.
