This is bad in that the chef has no idea about NM green chile. First, "Hatch peppers" is not correct. There are several growing regions here in NM, and Hatch is one of them. They are all classified as New Mexican green chile. There are several cultivars/varieties which range in heat and size. The roasting seaon here starts in late July - mid Nov, depending where the chile is grown. Not a "one month only" crop. From the sizes in this video, these look like either mild or medium heat chile. And he is wrong- "hotter than an Anaheim, but not hotter than a jalapeno"...
Mild, BJ Med, Sandia regular hot, Junie X hot, Barker XX hot, and Lumbre XXX hot. We do not eat them raw, always roasted.

She did not even eat the pepper just the filling. Really girl. If ya gonna fake it at least tell cameraman to not film it. We're watching ya knw.
