I'm not a Catholic but seeing Pope Francis and hearing his homily makes me cry. His words are so powerful and I really, really love his openness to other religions and also to other genders. His love for the less fotunate and children is endless. I hope he would come back here and I'm sure as heck I'd attend his mass (I wouldn't be doing the mass rituals though, hehe).

Hasta la vista and God bless your trip, Papa Francisco!

It's amazing that the last few Popes always made it a point to visit the Philippines one or more times because of the devout faith of the Philippine people !  Didn't matter if they were rich or poor, they came, and they came in the millions !

Even after 7 years, I still can't stop myself from tearing up. Pope Francis' visit is my greatest epiphany as Filipino. Pope's speech yesterday to his diplomatic corps gives me more hope. He is the only powerful man today who calls what is happening now as "third world war". He knows and we need to take heed.

I'm not in the Philippines but I felt God's presence so much through his words and compassion towards all of us. Such an overwhelming 5 days it was ng nakasubaybay sa TV :') I can't imagine the struggle, I don't know how hard it must have been for the people who attended and waited and sacrificed but I would have loved the experience of getting wet in the rain to seeing the Pope at lahat- the whole package, to be one of the 6/7 million faithful kababayans.

Thank you Lord Jesus for such people. The feeling of gratitude and happiness. Overflowing, almost indescribable- luha na lang ako ng luha. Maraming katiwalian ang Pilipinas, hindi perpekto pero ito parin ang bansang palagi kong lilingunin san pa man. I might be alone, pero naniniwala pa rin akong may buti pa sa loob ng mga makasalanan na tinamaan sa mga nabanggit ni Pope, and I'll keep believing anyway.
Dadating din ang araw na wala ng manglilimos sa ating mga kalye.

Mabuhay ang Panginoon, Lolo Kiko at ang Pilipinas! ❤️

I am so thankful to God for serving as volunteer during the Papal Mass in Tacloban, It's a fulfilled dream to do service with utmost grace and be part of the Pope Francis Papal Journey.  Thank you so much Pope Francis for coming to our country and for inspiring us to be missionaries of good will.
