My Bike - Marin Alpine Trail 7

+1 to all of these, especially on that Marin. I went with a 2.4" Dissector in the rear and after going tubeless, it dropped a whopping 1.5lbs from the rear wheel. One last point might be upgrading the seat. A lot of bikes come with decent ones but it's worth it to try another one if you're still not comfortable with what came on the bike.

I agree... Tires should be #1 on the list. I'm a Victoria Mazza fan myself.

Water bottle on the list though.... I would boot that and suggest getting a good pair of mountain bike shoes.
