It’s not myth and legend. Just history.

I thought the Piutes were very friendly initially to white settlers in the Carson City NV area.
On the other hand my uncle Harry was 100% Comanche.
Harry was the nicest guy I ever knew.
He was an executive with Edison.
When Uncle Harry passed he was buried in his Boy Scout uniform.
Love and miss you Uncle Harry.

amazing, I loved it. American Indians are such amazing, athletic, beautiful people with so much wisdom our current world is in sore need of.

Well if JP Morgan helped fund it we can be sure that some history was not reported and some was altered.

My brother, who is a lawyer, and a straightshooter, told me a story 7 years ago that I thought was weird. He was hunting and didn't see anything for hours in the morning at his first blind, so decided to walk to his second blind. When he came over the hill and was walking down to the ravine he saw what he described as a miniature person looking at him 40 feet away on a ridge. They ran away in terror at speeds unreal. I thought that he was talking about a person, but it affected him so much that he painted it because words couldn't describe it. He painted what looked like a 4 foot tall, grey sasquatch? Like I said, he doesn't have any loose screws. That is what he saw. He won't talk very much about it and just told me to take a picture of his painting if I wanted to share the story.

The Comanches were the most savage and ferocious red indians even the Apache feared them, if they were afraid of something then people should pay attention and listen carefully.

When I was a little girl, I was terrified of giants. I have no idea how I knew about giants but I knew they were taller than than 75 foot to 100 ft pines that encircled our home. I also dreamed I could fly.

I surmise that at first they offered sacrifices to the giants to appease them just like in the movie King Kong. But after time the giants were not satisfied with the sacrifices and decided to 3at freely the people got sick of them. So they killed the giants. The giants most likely killed hundreds but they still lost. I'm guessing the giants were killed one at a time. Oh, they built a large fire at the mouth of the cave and either smoked them out or the giants suffocated.

I've been learning that mythology may actually be very ancient memories of ancient peoples and events.

Here is one example.

There are nearly a hundred mythological tellings of an ancient flood, and or fire. The fire consumed the world. The flood wiped away civilization. The Noah's flood story is one. The Mayans have their story, the Aboriginals in Australia have theirs.

Recently, I saw this archeology professor from the U.K. who discovered an ancient story about an ancient boat that settled on Mount Ararat. This is a 6, 000 year old story about the Noah's Arc story! From their point of view it was an ancient legend!

Well, there is geological evidence that around 12, 000 years ago the polar ice cap over the Arctic melted so quickly that the global sea level rose about 430 feet!

Today, we hear about discoveries of ancient towns found in the oceans, far off the coasts of certain areas.

It may be possible that these ancient flood myths told by multiple civilizations all over the world are really an ancient memory of a giant global flood that occurred at the time the polar ice cap melted.

As for the fires? There is growing evidence that the Earth may have been hit by a massive CME from the Sun - the source of energy that rapidly melted the polar ice cap, ending the Ice Age, causing fires on the day time facing side of the Earth, and etc.

There is physical evidence in the "Black Mat Layer" found globally to indicate global fires. And geological evidence that points to terrain changing floods that was so great, that it washed sections of mountains away.

I say all this, because it may be that these ancient mythological tales from the Indian tribes may be an ancient memory of an ancient time.

If numerous tribes and numerous cultures around the world have similar cases. Odds are it's happening and happened. We didn't just develop pattern recognition overnight. It's something our species developed after centuries of fning around and finding out. And we found out and immediately forgot.

I gathered main information about topics you mentioned briefly as always here it’s . Little people have been part of folklore in many cultures in human history including Ireland, Greece, Philippines, New Zealand, Hawaiian islands, Flores island, Indonesia, Native American. Native people or North America told legends of race “ little people “ who lived in woods near sandy hill and, sometimes near rocks located along large bodies of water, such as Great Lakes. Often described as hairy faced dwarfs in stories petroglyphs illustrations show them with horns on their heads, and traveling in groups of 5 to 7 per canoe . Native legends often talk of little people playing pranks on people, such as singing and then hiding when inquisitive person searches for music . Crow folklore says little people live in Pryor mountains carbon and big hora counties in Montana. Petroglyphs on rocks in mountains were made by these demans like creatures, according to crow . Because little people live there, mountains are sacred to craw . Tribe of little people makiawisug . Rocks of Mohegan hills are home of makiawisug. After night fall call of whip poor will signal their arrival. They are good spirits, but Mohegans know they must be treated with respect, according to tradition.

I tend to hold “legends” & “myths” passed through oral tradition in higher regard than “agreed upon” narratives 🤷🏻‍♀️

Last part of my research there article written in 2016 by Barbara Alice Mann . Titled giants and dwarfs . I chose main points giants and dwarfs from yet another traditional pairing of breath and blood, primary European sources Bristle with many, first hand accounts of giants seen among Indians, along archaeological finds of both . Giants and dwarfs. These reports are ignored by western scholars. Today attempts like around bennwick man made toclal mancient Europe ancestry in North America. Not withstanding Indian tradition sale little red with dangerous cannibal giants such as in lovelock cave traditions. Giants are often short handed as red heads especially among creators and mound builders . Three foot tall dwarfs figure just as prominently stories that show their lungs as detachable and their dwellings as under sound. Although also cannibalistic dwarfs occasionally ailed humans . Both giants and dwarfs possessed inscrutable technologies including flight . Multiple traditions of giants and dwarfs their appearance proclivities and abilities are can analyzed . I hope you like my research. Thank you for your wonderful cultural documentary channel.

@Khatoon170 in these comments gives a very good overview of the reports of little people seen around the world. As to giants, there are also reports of them in a number of places around the world, and not just reports, but skeletons and even some partially preserved bodies. Question is - why the coverups on these?
