Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is a 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series. Its historical timeframe precedes that of Assassin's Creed III (2012), but its modern-day sequences succeed III's own. The plot is set in a fictional history of real-world events and follows the millennia-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight to preserve peace and free will, and the Templars, who desire peace through control.

It probably gets overlooked a lot, but I really appreciate you putting in the extra bit of effort to muffle your vocals whenever the character you're playing as is underwater. It's a really nice touch

Honestly the best thing about Black Flag is the exploration and the tropical settings. There are always something to do when you visit islands using the Jackdaw while listening to sea shanties about leaving your dearest and fighting ghost ships.

Kevin making the audio muffled in water is a very nice touch. It Really adds the the immersion.

Black Flag is my absolute favorite Assassin's Creed game. The gameplay, the shanties, the story, it's just top tier. I played it for hours on end on my younger days. That music from the main menu alone was enough to give me goosebumps.

Edit: If you keep playing the game, do keep in mind that when there's that "Y" icon on enemy ships, you gotta hold Y rather than mash it.

3:27 Coming from a "Our flag means death" fan, I was not expecting to hear the name Stede Bonnet today

My favorite thing to do at the end of this game was to wear the Mayan armor (makes you bullet proof) and cheese the system for building the fleet. There was an area on the map where the man-of-wars had to go slow through a narrow spot and I realized that if you grab onto an enemy ship while it's moving, it immediately stops. You can kill everyone, swim back to your ship, then claim it for your fleet without having to take damage to either yourself or your ship. Good times
