I’ve always felt fine on five hours of sleep and people act like I’m some kind of freak because of it so thank you for your video.

Listen to your body is probably the best piece of advice when it comes to sleep.

Sir, Whenever I lay down to sleep my head start painting on the left. When the time comes to get up in morning, I feel urge to sleep, but the work need to be done. What should I do? I end up relief by crying.

I get 4 hours of sleep every other night. Started experiencing insomnia 2 years ago. Worked ICU as an RN for almost a decade night shift...then started trying to switch to days...COVID, Stress, and whammo...the wheels fell off. 95% of MDs have no idea how to treat insomnia....or there simply is no treatment that works..so they just throw drugs at you which can make things worse.

If you wake up, you wake up. Don't go back to sleep. Well not unless if it's caused by external stimuli.

I don’t know if you listen to Matt Walkers podcast, but in episode 47 titled”too much sleep” he talks about optimal sleep from 2 different studies. I think one was in Japan and the other in U.S or U.K. With both studies the average optimal sleep, whereby all the physical and cognitive measurements were their best was around 8hrs, 40 minutes of sleep. So more than what people expect. Therefore, I aim to give myself 9hrs sleep opportunity if possible, but may wake up earlier

My job requires me to have a weird sleep schedule, and I literally feel completely rested on 6 hours of sleep, and during the week, because if my schedule I only sleep 3-4 hours twice a day and I feel fine

Everyone is under that Bell curve.
Not "most people".

I have FFI - it is rare but I do have it, I am close to 70 and that will by nearly 20 years and I have all but 2 symptoms to get dead. It is diagnosed, but there IS NO cure. There are 100 people in USA but more people in Europe and China have been diagnosed.

That always seemed weird to me. If you don't do anything during the previous day and you're not sick or anything how would you possible need as much sleep as somebody who spent all day working
