Sadly they used to call it cowardliness and the consequences for that were fatal

When I was in my 30’s I made some stupid Decisions and some bad things happened to me professionally. I was so stressed out by it I think I developed some PTSD. I get by now but it lead to me having flashbacks all the time, hypervigilant and I would try to avoid things that triggered me like even going to my own mail box because I would panic over what might be in the mail. I’ve been able to calm the anxiety with some meds and one that recently started helping was bystolic a Beta blacker. What it does it keeps my heart and blood pressure down when I would normally panic and my heart would start to race.

I call those symptoms common sense but then I have been diagnosed with this.

I think there are different levels of PTSD. Someone who’s been in a bad car crash isn’t the same as someone who’s been in combat.

And now everyone is talking about CPTSD. But it is not diagnosed in the USA where I live.

Why would anyone go to situations that caused ptsd. That seems very weird to label that avoidance behavior.

I've tried to talk to you about cptsd and you don't. I have severe disorders and America doesn't have the education needed to treat me. I have seen my father killed in front of me, r*aped, molested, attackedby a stanger. He went to jail for months. I haven't left my house in almost 8 yrs
