Journey to the Château, Ep. 237 - In this Friday episode, Patrick and Stuart show some of their dinner preparations for a recent weekend with Patron guests at the chateau. Patrick makes a Terrine de Campagne (Country Paté), and Stuart shows how he makes a Peach Melba dessert with red peaches from the chateau garden. Patrick and Stuart also continue preparing for the upcoming Heritage Days by trying to finish up some small jobs in the chateau.

Peach Melba is simply scrumptious.
I have that same Le Creuset covered baker in white. I love it.
I didn't grow up eating liver as an entré. They snuck it on us in wieners, bologna, and salami. I ate quite a lot of pork paté when I lived in France. I assume it was made from pork liver. Whatever it was, it was delicious.
More progress is good.

We just came home from our son’s rehearsal dinner party of 85 people we hosted. It was a blast and I’m completely exhausted. I’m saying this because I am sitting down watching you put on a fabulous event in your beautiful chateau. I had caters, florist and a bar tender helping me. You both always inspire me with your talents, your energy and your “hostess with the mostest” personalities. Hello Darling Stuart and Patrick, excellent vlog I love watching you both cook. I have to say Peach Melba is a favourite of mine. If you make that for me Stuart I will be your friend for life. What fantastic hosts you are.
The amount of work you have put in between doing all the preparation for your guests and the Heritage day.
Sorry I couldn’t be with you earlier but I was out on the ocean in a high speed Rib on a Sea Safari and it was exhilarating . I’m doing things I would never have done before.
