In addition to being a wildly successful indie filmmaker, Spike Jonze is now an evil network executive.

Watch The Late Show with Stephen Colbert weeknights at 11:35 PM ET/10:35 PM CT. Only on CBS.

---
Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Epic skateboard films, music videos like Sabotage for the Beastie Boys, then full feature films like adaptation and Being John Malkovich and even the Jackass movies....this guy is such a talented and gifted filmer and director. And a super nice and humble guy to boot

The first 2 minutes of this segment is a lovely representation of empathy on Colbert's part. Thank-You!

spike has gone far, I was a fan of his pictures in Freestylin' Magazine in the late 80's, his art covered most of my school notebooks, great to see he is still going

Interviews like this are very intriguing to me. Spike Jones being a TV exec and him giving a small look into Viceland was pretty cool

I've never heard of Stephen Colbert before, but I like him. He's a good interviewer and seems like a really nice bloke!

"Weediquette" was one of the ads shown on my screen last week that I chose to watch all the way through and was so inspired at the end of it, I clicked out of the original piece planned on watching to go tell my best friend about. Viceland is a channel I'd actually voluntarily get scammed by my local cable company for in order to watch. S'cuze me, I need to go tell my local cable company they billed me for months I never even had internet and that my original $200.00s I paid in advance for 3 months of wifi appears to have disappeared in a cloud somewhere.
