I'm a supervisor in the U.S so I also get to review job applications. Sometimes we review over 50 applications for one job opening One thing I would advise everyone to do when applying for remote jobs is to look at the job description, and make sure you include to include the top five job requirements in your resume and cover letter. These days A.I sifts through applications before the get to the person who decides whether or not you meet the criteria. A.I uses key words to make that decision. The organization i work has only about 15% remote jobs and they hire mostly people in America, so I'm just giving you a heads up.

Thanks a lot Lynn and Lorraine. Please sponsor me, am in dire need of a job, I have a nanny whom have been with me for 10 years and don't want to release her because she has kids whom we have been assisting with fees but right now am straining because its only my husband who is having source of income. Have always been praying that by the time my nanny is leaving I be stable inorder to set up a business for her. The bond they have with my kids its just so amazing, she is a second mum to my kids. Her kids and mine are best friends.

What she is saying is 100% true, I had been looking forward for flexibility and that is what remote work gives you, some companies hire even less experienced people for like $5 per hour for call center jobs etc, the market is competitive but I like how Kenyans hear of an opportunity and grab it. To anyone reading this, go ahead and try remote work even with your diploma or certificate or even high school cert, it is possible. Go on YouTube for basic skills then apply for that job. All the best.

Good to see more people opening up to the possibilities of remote work. I'm now in my 13th year as a remote software developer and i have no regrets. It has been more fulfilling that any "traditional" job that i would have had.

This is so true, Her story relates to mine. The day I received this invitation for an interview I went to LinkedIn then found out around 20 People from Kenya working with this International Corporate . My interview would take like 4 months of interviews 😂 Lynn I watch you daily working from home . Whatever she is saying is 100% true . Work-life balance, red flags, and everything else 🎉🎉
