Nearly 50% of all guys over 40 years old are overweight. It is no secret that it is harder to stay healthy after 40. At this age, our schedules are super busy and life gets in the way of proper exercise, nutrition, and healthy sleeping habits.

In this fitness podcast for men over 40, we’ll teach you how to get motivated, exercise, and eat right in your 40s, 50s, and 60s. We’ll share the stories of guys who have lost 100 pounds in their 40s, maintained six-pack abs in their 50s, and ran marathons in their 60s. What are these guys doing differently than the average guy? We’ll share the systems that they use to get fit and stay fit, along with some of the medical science and research related to nutrition, sleep, and exercise.

I was over 50 when I ran a half-marathon, just me and my lonesome. Now I'm in my 60s and want to run a marathon...

It's really hard to keep up with body changes after 40s. We need special care around this time and we need to maintain exercise to boost our metabolism. It really helped me a lot with motivation, makes me keep going.

I subscribe to both of your channels. I’m 58. Have an active job as a delivery driver. I had always run or walked and lifted weights until I fell off the fitness wagon at anout 50. I went part time 3 yyears ago to finish a degree and also because of injuries. I have been working my way back since. For the past 6 months I’ve been stepping up my workouts. I’ve started to run again. Even though this is aimed at Fit Fathers I think I can learn alot off these podasts. (And maybe influence my husband by example)

It's quite difficult to keep up with body changes after the age of 30. We need to take extra precautions at this time, and we must continue to exercise to keep our metabolism up. It has greatly aided my drive and encouraged me to continue.
