How to update Asus ROG Strix Gaming Wifi 2 BIOS

Here's a short video showing you how to update the Bios on the Asus ROG Strix Gaming Wifi II. This is a Z790-A motherboard and I'm showing you the easiest way to update it.

Nowhere did you mention that the computer needs to be off, but plugged into the mains supply in to update the BIOS through the rear BIOS FLASH port

I must say, it feels like the longest 3 minutes of a game's life, should power be cut any time during this process, we're toast, so far it hasn't happened and hopefully never will.
It's great to return here for my reminder of how to do this since i don't update my bios very often.

thanks that helped! i had to update to a much never version on a similar model, but these steps helped me get through it smoothly! I feel like the system will run into issues again eventually though, the motherboard and processor combo i have appear to be notoriously incompatible for some reason..

So the rename version of BIOS is only for BIOS Flashbacki, and the original one is for using EZ Flash Utility?

Currently doing this. My 13900k has been so unstable…I get 32K cinebench scores and over 100c…hopefully this fixes it

When you're flashing the new bios update, did you use the renamed file or the originally named file from the download? Do you even need to rename the file if you're just going to directly access the file from the flash drive instead of using the flash button?
