When drawing fur in whichever personal preferance of medium...not every hair needs to be defined...less is best...mapping in tonal values is the most important.

Such good advice and guidance. Do you use coloured pencils to depict fur? Another question is: where can the camel brush be obtained? I have been looking at your videos and found them so useful and instructive. You are so talented and observant of your subject, that seems to be a priority to develop a 'seeing eye'. Great tutorials I have a couple of your cd's and at least for me there is something missing, I guess it could be years of drawing one way and then trying something new. What I think is missing for me is just as your about to remove a hair from above the cats eye the eraser is just about to show.... nope lets do it to a scribble which is easy enough for most watching I sure. Do you have a online class for skin texture I'd pay to see from start to finish the texture on the blonde boy drawing.

what kind of colored pencils you use? i tryed ti draw with regular ones but i cant get a good result at all!
