Thanks, Joe. When I was an extremely abused kid I used to leave my body at night to escape for at least a little while. Quietly flying over the city filled me with peace, freedom and hope. I had to wait another 20 years for my NDE, but as you said, leaving my body was familiar enough that I immediately knew what happened and I appreciated the relief from the pain my body was experiencing. This man should have beennin intensive care/ICU immediately & NOT put into a room alone waiting to die for his.organs to be taken. How undignified, INHUMANE, and CALLOUS of the hospital.

Just last week I experienced the most excruciating pain of my life (I'm 72) - for a solid 15 hours. I was given morphine, ketamine, and fentanyl. None of it brought relief. It's astounding to me to hear that some nurses and doctors will simply dismiss, almost arrogantly, the suffering of their patients. I don't wish to be cruel, but perhaps if those individuals were forced to endure the sheer agony of indescribable pain, they would learn to respect their patients more. Their superior attitude is indefensible.

That surgeon should have never gone into the medical profession. Egomaniacs are dangerous, and that doctor has almost certainly, injured some of his patients unnecessarily.

Wow they were being complete jerks about organ donation and his injuries when they should have just been comforting and encouraging him. Wow I am disgusted and am going to take myself off the organ donor program.

Last time i was at the DMV april of this year. I saw ORGAN donation signs plastered throughout the DMV on every window and every wall. Makes you wonder..

Some surgeons want to do the surgery bcos they BELIEVE its the right thing for you, but MANY other SURGEONS want to operate because THEY NEVER did that PARTICULAR SURGERY BEFORE & its a NOTCH on THEIR BELT of EXPERIENCE for them. And they're FURIOUS at the AUDACITY of a LAY PERSON to REFUSE their EXPERTISE advice.
