Miami is one of the first US cities to experience the effects of climate change. But they’re not the only one. Several locations around the world face a grim future if climate change remains unabated.

"Let's all move to the coast, " they said. "We'll build great big cities, " they said.

Who cares if humans caused it? The fact of the matter is, it is happening. All these people talking about whether we caused it need to get off their rear ends and try to do something about it instead of pointing fingers.

I stay in Mumbai very close to the coastline and I am scared. In 2006 when we had record Rainfall the entire city went submerged for days.
You probably wouldnt know Mumbai is the first largescale man made city wich was landfilled in the 1800s between 7 natural islands and now its all one.
U would think it's just a city but it's population is equal to all of Australia.

It's shocking to see what's left of Miami Beach after not living in that area for 20 years. Its easy to believe the ocean will one day reclaim that territory.

These things sound horrible until you realize that the sea level rise happens so slowly that the cities will literally just slowly migrate away from the rising shore line. Millions of people arent going to suddenly find their homes underwater over night. Its going to take decades upon decades.

So the options are
1 Follow the data, the peer reviewed papers and the overwhelming opinion of 97% of scientists in the field?
2 Some random people of the internet who present no data, no papers and no scientific consensus.

Can we move all the climate change deniers to South Florida and then wall it off? That'd be great, thanks.

Sea Levels aren't even rising. NASA says the ice isn't even melting!

As if the direct causes of rising sea level weren't bad enough, what happens when we have half a billion migrants fleeing rising sea levels? Compound that with the demographic bubble in many at risk countries and areas and we have political chaos in addition to the woes of the rising sea level. I fear for the next 84 years.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I honestly doubt that any of these cities will be submerged by 2100. While this could happen, the future is always in play and given we clearly have 85 year foresight, I'm sure we'll find a solution to this problem. No need to panic folks...yet...

People said that the Us was supposed to be completely underwater by now soooo...

Mate. We have 79 years. Plus, we already woulda had to lower global heat a lot by 2050, so we'd be halfway there.
