Ms. Havrot, I don't quite understand how in the example, where there is a continuous function going from a parabola to a straight line, why didn't the 2-x (or simplified, -x+2) line start at y=2 and then down. Is this an error? Or could you please explain. Thank you!

Hi! Im a bit confused because wouldn't you need to factor out the -1 as the k value? since its 2-x which is also -x+2 would that not also be -(x-2) and then would the function be shifted right by 2 units and reflected?
