I love how you can easily tell that Camile's mother was a dancer in the same class as Odette, but she lost to her and she never got over it and used her own daughter to get redemption.

I saw this movie many years ago.... I just found it again and I literally watched it four times.. It is such an amazing beautiful story... I've always danced since I was a teenager... I've always taken ballet...jazz and tap and have been in a few shows here and there and a couple of plays .. danced for a basketball team and did some belly dancing for restaurants.. which also required a lot of ago !!...but to actually make it to be a professional ballerina...omg... The dedication one cannot even fathom.. the immense amount of training and dedication along with a passion in your heart.. which basically is what the story was based on ... A passion in your soul.... such a beautiful movie❤

I know this isn't canon or anything like that, but when I first saw this a). love nora, but b). my head canon is that Nora is like Roseitta's daughter or little sister or something, literally because of that little detail that Roseitta reached out for Nora when she was eliminated. Literally me over thinking it, and know its not true, but I thought it was a cute idea.

Camile was mean to Felice like really mean but the truth is that she just wants to be loved and be enough for her mother at least once in her life. Camile never got the love and support that real family's should have whic is why she workd hard for the part despite not wanting that part at all. Regine pushed Camile way too much and Camile clearly has no time to reast beacouse Regine makes it clear Camile get's the part weather she likes it or not. So the truth is that Camile had absoulutly nothing against Felice but just wanted to be accepted for who she truly is and get the love of a real family. Good thing Camile stood up to Regine in the end. if Regine can't love Camile as she is and accept that she doesen't want to be a dancer than there is no point in contenuing on anymore beasides if Regine truly cared about Camile she wouldn't hurt Felice and try to ruin they're friendship this way. Camile could have quit or given up but she chose teamwork, friendship and to stay true to herself that was very brave
