My boyfriend has severe anxiety and depression. I too have anxiety pretty bad and when I try to help him I just get overloaded. Sometimes its overwhelming but I love him so much and I would do anything for him. Fighting depression cannot be fought alone. So I'm standing with him
Edit: He is currently in a mental health facility because he tried to OD. I'm just waiting for him now. I'll be getting letters in about a week. I already miss him so much and I cry everyday for him.

Edit: I hate to say this but we ended up breaking up. When he came home he started mentally abusing me and I just couldn't take it anymore. I loved him so much but he always made me feel like I was nothing. It is what it is and im much happier now.

this song is about sensory issues, which are quite hard to deal with. please don’t make it quirky or anything like that because it’s not fun to have.

for me sometimes noises are too loud, or violent. and the feeling of certain things are so uncomfortable, and when you get unexpectedly touched by someone, like if they bump into you or they brush their hand against you. it freaks me out, i get so stressed.

so please don’t try to glorify sensory issues, or pretend to have them because it’s so harmful to people on the spectrum, mentally ill people and etc.

also the creator of this song experiences sensory issues, her name is Royal & The Serpent, because she feels like two people (because of her mental illnesses) and she made this song to bring awareness to sensory issues and mental illness.

I kinda relate to the part “my anxiety keeps me silent when I try to speak” part cause I have social anxiety and my anxiety takes over when I’m in a crowded area and I just don’t speak cause of it.
