Technically the bot had around 3 sec before you started but ended at the same time meaning you had win the bot and yes although the corner was turned it still counts as solved…

Swap the middles.

This is because the cube connects to the app and so does the robot, so when you twist it the CubeStation app doesn’t detect it because it only changes based off actual turns

WCA regulations would allow a single corner twist (if the puzzle is otherwise solved).

The robot detects scrambles based off of the centers, so it doesn't know that the corner is twisted.

What if you just twisted the corner but didn’t scramble it and just left it like that?

Easy just twist the the entire top. You can solve it in one turn but the robot cannot since it has nothing on the top.
