Doctor, I have MCAS, Hashimotos and Autoimmune gastritis. Is there a link? Will treating the MCAS help with the autoimmune atrophic gastritis and Hashimotos?

Whenever I get an mcas flare, my POTS also flares up - is the mcas causing the POTS flare up? Any chance you could talk more on the relationship between these two and how they might affect one another?

Dr. G, please talk about MCAS and chronic fatigue (EBV). I’m thinking that mast cells may be keeping the virus cells active thus keeping the patient in a constant state of fatigue. You’re thoughts?

It’s a fascinating and clearly understudied (or taught) because strangely WHO criteria is still, like 2020? (Consensus 2, is too difficult and requires more patient centered approach with lots of observation) however, if say, you’re at Mayo? Nah they’ll wait until you have Conc 1 whilst you, the patient-suffer. (They’re banking on the Blackstone database to get an edge me thinks 🤔 )
