You can use silicone tape to attach the reel to the handle. I find it works better than electrical tape, it's rated down to -50C and doesn't leave any sticky residue on the cork.

Awesome video Jay, and Frostbite.. Forstbite recently sent me some rods and my first day out they turned into my favorite rods. 37" ML smoke show, and the 39" dipstick. The smoke show performed how i wanted, and was ideal for my trout rod on the jaw jacker .

I love these rods! I have 2 feather dusters a Truegrit and a Smokeshow. I just ordered a Mr Noodles for this season. Such a great line up of rods and baits Frostbite is a major player on Ice. Outstanding products

I would love to see a series with a reel seat + the recoil guides. IMO that would be the ultimate rod as i personally prefer a reel seat.
Currently running the Drench, Smokeshow, True Grit for Walleye. Then the Mr. Big, Drama Queen, Slugger for pike. and THEN... the Run&Gun for anything that swims, what an awesome rod, I've caught everything from 10" perch to 42" Pike on the run&gun and its never skipped a beat. Keep at it Frostbite

Also for someone on the fence about buying a frost bite allmost all my rods are frostbite and have never broken other then one for my own stupidity and not from fishing I got a custom mags rod with the Eskimo collaboration and it broke after 3 fish I would go with frost bite any day they are durable and sensitive even if you are suing a slightly to big rod for smaller fish you can still feel everything and in addition there small tantrum bait is awesome for perch I’ve caught way more on that then on the standard tear drop jig everything frostbite has is dialed in

I have a dump truck and love it but will never put it in another jaw jacker, mine split sitting in the jaw jacker but frostbite took care of it so no complaints actually give them props for customer service

Jay I need some more info or a review on the reels 1000 vs 2000? I’ve got a vantablack drench and I fish for walleye, perch and lake trout mostly can I use either reel adequately or what is your recommendations for the reels to each rod?

Love the answer for the warranty. So it's pretty much not for my boss when you say if u don't slam it in a door or step on it. U totally described my boss. I don't know how many walleye rods he has sent back to st Croix. He loves snapping tips off. Lol. Great video as always Jay. Can't wait to see the family out on the ice this winter.
