Dave Chappelle is the 'Don Rickles' of today (Tired of people judging by 'woke' standards). We need more things to laugh about and Chappelle gives that. This is what comedy is all about. You should see his clip about the trangendered women he gave a chance to perform during one of his shows. It's rather heart wrenching.

In the 1960s when they were hanging us from trees, our comedians helped get us through those times with humor. Dick Gregory, Redd Foxx, and many others made fun of the absurd. Dave Chappelle is not homophobic, he's not against any particular group. He is an artist at his craft. If you don't agree with his humor change the damn channel.

He’s a comedian. Doing a comedic set. It’s a different thing altogether. Dave is an observational artist, the stage is his medium, his words his painting; he says dangerous things because art is SUPPOSED to be dangerous. It’s supposed to cross lines and boundaries, it’s supposed to help one laugh at the difficult things. It’s supposed to be fearless. In the words of the late, great Joan Rivers, “if we can’t even laugh about it, we’ll never be able to just talk about it.” Laughter makes it easier to have the tougher conversations. Btw, I’m Jewish, and I fckng love Dave Chapelle. I love that he’s fearless with his art, and he has a brilliant mind. I regard him as one of the few, true artistic geniuses of my generation.

That would be like me trashing one of Barkley's basketball games, even though I never watched him play. Barkley and CNN are disingenuous and moronic. Chapelle is common sense and genius ... wrapped up in comedy so people don't take themselves too seriously.
