If only alphabet people were this cool. He seems genuinely happy that Dave spoke about him and made fun of him. I would be happy as well coz comedy is like that. Dave used to make fun of Bush drug addicts and black community and we all laughed but as soon as he makes jokes about alphabet people its a problem.

I was at the Tampa show where Dave was roasting Madison (who was in the audience watching). Dave was SO embarrassed and apologized PROFUSELY before doing the bit. Madison, not being a victim in this victim society, laughed harder than any of us. Him being there and Dave having the courage to go through with it made that night SO AMAZING.

I'm praying that Dave Chapelle helps the generations coming up now develop the same healthy sense of humor that a couple generations learned from George Carlin and a host of others. We have to be willing to laugh at ourselves and enjoy being in on the joke rather than assuming that we're merely the punchline. Laughter is the best medicine. It's often the best teacher too.

True story. I was there and witnessed the hilarious interaction. I thought maybe it was a setup because of the netflix special, so it's nice to know the backstory and that it was authentic. Also, some people need to learn to take a joke like this guy did.
