I bought a 7900 XTX literally yesterday after watching the reviews for the 9070 XT. I managed to get it for under $700 on Facebook Marketplace. My friend called me an idiot.

I hope I don’t regret my decision, but considering the availability of 9070 XT models at MSRP, I don’t think I will. It seems that only the Gigabyte models are available in my region as of now, and the cheapest is currently listed at about $920 USD after tax... and it’s out of stock.

I don’t care much about RT, and the 24GB of VRAM on the 7900 XTX will definitely be useful for running local AI models. I just hope some version of FSR 4 eventually gets supported.

I was very excited for the launch of this GPU, woke up early and headed to my local best buy.
Expected to see a massive line and saw a ghost town. Went inside as they opened the doors, first person to walk in. Headed over to their GPU shelves and they had NOTHING. Talked to the employee's and they didn't get any in stock and wouldn't see any for another week.
Safe to say I was disappointed with this GPU launch, and wish I lived near a Micro Center.

90% of 9070xt were insanely priced OC models. There were $850 9070xt cards. Seriously a $250 increase in price. The fake msrp xfx swift model was $600 with a timer $130 off coupon. So even the “msrp” 9070xt is actually $730. It’s obvious the 9070xt was a $700 card, Nvidia shocked them with a $750 msrp so they had to delay

Managed to snag a Sapphire Pulse 9070 XT. Haven't had a Sapphire since the 9700 PRO, which came with a key for Half-Life 2 that I created a Steam account to redeem. Never in that time have I ever seen Radeon sell this well, all cards in Finland were gone in less than 30 minutes.

I managed to get me a PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper on launch today, really looking forward to getting and trying it out!

It was one of the three models that were on sale for the cheapest price (converts to around 785 USD from SEK, including a 25% vat etc)... all those models sold out within 3 minutes from launch where I bought it from.
