Tanks guys for sum it up! I owned a Garmin Enduro 2 - a really great watch. For me the best watch I had so far. The only big downside, the nylon band isn't made for watersport activities (surfing, etc). I lost my Enduro 2 during a wipeout on a wave on Bali. It just got ripped off my wrist. Didn't expected that from a sports band...

It was a brilliant video. The sheer depth and knowledge and way its put is brilliant. I agree with your comment on same s/w for fenix, quatix, marq, epix, etc, etc. I just bought quatix 7 because of looks and price and took a couple days to make it Fenix :). Happy new year !

Love the looks of the Marq 2 Athlete. The price not so much. I think the magnetic charging cable, while a pain for introducing an new format, might just redeem itself, by allowing on the go charging and offset the shorter battery life. That said, I will probably get the Enduro 2 and be free of battery worries on long cold hikes. My aging Fenix 5s is down to 4 hours winter tracking, so needs a top up at every rest break to last the route. Cold really makes a difference to batter. I can get back with 15% remaining and once warmed up, have it jump to 40% remaining. Hopefully, I can live with the much larger size on my somewhat skinny wrist.
