Love how they remixed old songs (reach for the stars, dreams of absolution, etc.) into upbeat and fast-paced songs. The whole soundtrack is amazing!

Oh my goodness. The race opening theme is a remix of "Super Sonic Racing" from SONIC R!
Edit: And the final lap theme, and the end of race jingle.

Sega has so much potential still! After seeing this game imagine seeing level design similar to this (with SA2 physics) and playable characters with an amazing story line.
Is it me, or does it seem as if the character model's look a bit different?
