Awesome kid. Catch and release is the way to go. That fish was a breeder who will create healthy offspring. Most people would have killed it. His father is obviously doing a good job of raising his son.

That boy was raised right, I love seeing videos like this, ah that was such a great moment in both those guys life it's priceless, and the true knowledge of catch an releasing sport fish and the true meaning to, " go back and be better " the reality is someone else is gonna catch that fish and gave their moment as well, also the chance of catching her again in bigger size is awesome

Fishing is a life skill as well as a great past time to be shared with family and friends. It is to be passed on to the next generation just as it was done here. This young man has been instilled with the sportsmanship that will ensure fishing will be there in the future for his children. Fantastic catch and an even better release.
