As a Brazillian, i have to confirm we love to interact with our neighbors and its very usual for us to feed our neighbor friends. So finding someone like that must feel like home.

In Turkey, when someone offers their neighbors a plate of food it’s common that the neighbor will fill that plate back with food and fill another plate of their own then give it back. The other neighbor does the same, so if you think about it it’s actually an unending chain of feeding and being fed by neighbors-which really warms you to the environment you live in. I was able to witness this multiple times while visiting my cousins, I was shocked about how they were so comfortable while taking/giving food. Turns out they were doing that for years.

I'm stuck in a loop where we give some food to our neighbors in our bowl, they give it back with food and we give them back some food as a thanks

In my neighbourhood here where I live in Ireland, I'm blessed to have my neighbours provide me with free entertainment in the form of fighting in the middle of the street and having loud drunken scream sessions at 3 am in the morning, they're so considerate🙂
