Wheel hop! (not to be confused with wheel spin) - get stickier tyres. Since i've switched to michelin crossclimates- a summer tyre that also does winter, not to be confused with all season tyres, i get no wheel hop at all and great off the line traction with just a bit of wheel spin....it's the wheel hop that completely kills traction and causes a big judder.

For anyone else with this issue, go into ABS long coding with VCDS/obd11 and change byte 29 from 09 to 06. Then in Adaptations, go to Starting Vibration Reduction and deactivate both settings (one may already be deactivated). This totally fixed the issue for me.

ur tires loose traction, the ecu cuts throttle so the tires catch up (way of saying)
the ecu tries to give you the maximum acceleration by controlling throttle and brake 
(I found your vid on the forum)
