My original objective was a VFR overfly of Mt Buller which has the best snow cover in many years. First step was to fly IFR over the cloud up to Mangalore for an 36 RNAV which was later converted to a circling approach (this video). No circling allowed to the east of the runway so I did a right circuit to land on RWY 18.
The cloud was too thick to get a look at Mt Buller (confirmed later by my friend Fiona who is "working" at Mt Buller this year), so I'll do that later in the season. Watch out for that one!

Great video, looking forward to your Buller video. I did Buller back around March this year with my instructor, skud running effectively via the Latrobe valley direction. Was one of my more memorable flights. I assume same deal for IFR you'd have to carry survival gear?
