Mario & Chill explores the rich musical history of the Super Mario video game series through the lens of 80s and 90s electronica. A spiritual successor to our album Zelda & Chill, Synthwave artist Helynt created a progressive and nostalgic tribute to gaming's biggest icon. Licensed compositions courtesy of Nintendo.

Inspired by the era when Mario first hit the scene, Mario & Chill was produced with synthesizers, guitars, and retro drum machines all akin to the era. Created by Helynt, a synth and retrowave artist from Italy, Mario & Chill is a progressive trip through video game music history.

Games featured include Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Mario 64, Mario & Luigi, Mario Galaxy, and Mario Odyssey. Composers include Koji Kondo, Kenta Negata, Satomi Terui, Naoto Kubo, Mahito Yokata, and Yoko Shimomura.

Mario & Chill is available digitally worldwide. It can be streamed on Spotify, Pandora, and Apple Music, and purchased from iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and more. Limited edition CDs and vinyl are available through GameChops on Bandcamp.

The original desync issue couldn't sort itself out 48 hours later so I've reuploaded the video--help the algorithm out and rewatch it!

The fact you were able to give Bowser such nice basic proportions without references shows how much all those past references have trained your eyes to know what looks right! Amazing stuff! I love how absolutely JACKED he turned out.

The Mario movie is turning out more realistic than I expected.

One of the things I find most interesting about these videos is the way you come up with solutions to problems... that scale texture roller is absolutely ingenious! I work on a much smaller scale than you usually do, and my figures aren't entirely sculpted from scratch, but I honestly want to try some of the things I've seen you do next time I make something.

Funny how his voice was so much lower back then lol.

This is hands down the coolest art work I have ever seen. I like how you made Bowser look hulking and massive on that platform...

The motivation that Adam has to drop a video for us every week is actually insane

12:06 Instead of Hot Glue, I'd use rare earth magnets. They're crazy strong and make packaging very easy. This is what I use with all my Robots and stuff in Warhammer 40k.

Thank you so much for this, Adam. I do digital art rather than sculpting, but the way you talked through making Mario made something click in my head and realize how smart it would be to create my people using the same principles. I already love all your videos, but I love this one just that little bit more.

Ahh, it feels like just yesterday-ish that I saw someone build something just like this. Hm, those were the day(s).

I'd love to see your take on the Mystery Shack from Gravity Falls... or really, any of the locations from the show, since the set design was always on point! Similarly, I wonder what the gems' house/statue from Steven Universe would look like if it was done in a more realistic style...

yo dude, this is so sick. it's awesome to see some childhood favourite characters reimagined, and I can't think of anyone who's done it better. keep up the great work.

Joseph Mario vs Giga Bowser isn't something I knew I needed in my life until right now.

Within 30 seconds i subbed.
The name, the comedic timing and nonchalant jokes. Im honestly a little annoyed I have not seen your content before.

Gonna check out all your other content over the days! Cheers man! Love the cinematography, dialogue, contrast, and timing. Well put together!

Amazing how you made Mario. So small and detailed. My hands would be trembling if I tried to do that.

This remake encompasses similar if not the same energy as the previous. I am all for it.

By far one of my favorite ones you've done. You nailed both. Little upset you didn't build a green tunnel lol, but when you make the rest of the crew you can add it then. Lol
Ps. The Stalin Mario was hilarious

Very impressive work, especially the detail in the textures. I can't imagine the patience to work in mere millimetres
