Polymer Clay Mokume Gane: Hidden Magic Tutorial

preview_player
Показать описание
Hidden magic is another form of mokume gane with polymer clay. Hidden magic can be used in many different ways and isn’t restricted to the usual skinner blend bulls eye cane variation. Play around with it and you’ll find there are so many ways to use this technique.

In this tutorial I’ll be showing the usual hidden magic mokume gane technique, but will show other variations in later tutorials. Have fun.

Another fun technique. The bronze & green made a wonderful mix. I also especially like the insect one with the black top.

I really like the one with the black layer on top. The single color makes the stamped images show up better, and kind of ties all the colors together nicely. Interesting that just adding one layer on top makes such a difference! Another very nice tutorial, Samantha, thank you!!! 💜💜💜

I’m watching this 2 years later, been watching your videos since first starting with polymer clay and I’ve learned a lot from you!!! I also love the accent! I looked on eBay for those particular stamps ... is there a certain brand for those? There were so many I wasn’t sure if all work the same way as far as giving a good impression. Thank you!!!
