Polymer Clay Mokume Gane: Watercolor Mokume Gane Tutorial

This is a fun take on the classic Hidden Magic Technique. With a few twists and tweaks it can look quite different and interesting. The one I’ll show you today has a watercolor effect to it hence the name Watercolor Mokume Gane. You can try this in any color you like, and it would look completely different with a different texture stamp. It’s fun, easy and a great overall technique. Let’s get started.

I love your variation! For me, it seems much easier than the original. It’s definitely on my list of techniques to try! ♥️

Great tutorial thanks! A bit intimidated by this process but going to try it since it is a beautiful effect.

Hi Samantha, love this and will definitely give it a go. I’m a newbie but your videos give me confidence! 😊
Just wondering where you got the long acrylic roller? I can’t seem to get one longer than 7”. I looked in your Etsy page as I thought you might sell them. Perhaps you should, they’re not easily found. Did you have it made for you?

Samantha, just wondering if you ever share the pics of what others have done with your techniques (maybe you aren’t allowed to, but I’d love to see those too). I do love watching your tutorials. I have bought a couple of your paid tutorials from Etsy and I can’t wait to try them!
