I decided it was time to give my living room a much-needed refresh! I was never quite happy with the original paint color, so I opted for something brighter, and the change has been incredible. The space now feels so much cleaner and airier. I also swapped some furniture around, bringing up a few favorite pieces from downstairs, and restyled the shelves with a fresh approach. Even these minor tweaks made such a big difference, and I’m so excited to share the transformation with you!

Repainting is a HUGE improvement. It's like someone turned on a really nice light in the room.
Also glad that you are accommodating Winston's puppy impulses. Far too many people get rid of a pet before giving them time to learn how to be a good roommate.

Just shows that making a house a home never stops. There was so much I wanted done in my home when we purchased it and in retrospect I’m glad It took a while, living in a space and working on it little by little helps you be more in tune with what you actually love

The living room looks so polished, so unified, the new paint highlights the gorgeous ceiling, window trim, etc., at the same time draws one in, it is a unified whole, all the piecesfit. And this is one of your strengths, to go back and rethink, redo a room. Way to be, Lone Fox!

I would bet that that new color is the "universal" color for all Spanish style LA houses! It always looks good, regardless of the name or the company. I call it pearl light butter, and it brings in light and warmth at the same time. Good for you for changing what doesn't work for you.
