Information Objects and Business Applications

Information Objects in ServiceNow are great for tracking what types of data (data classifications) are associated with applications and configuration items in your environment. In this video, I show you the PROPER way to associate an Information Object with a BUSINESS APPLICATION so that you can simultaneously record whether that application has CREATE, READ, UPDATE and DELETE permissions for that type of data. CRUD is only available if you own APM, but, you are correct, the docs tells you to add it this way, even if you don't have APM
