Can HIV symptoms persist despite negative 4th generation test? - Dr. Ramakrishna Prasad

If the fourth generation antigen-antibody test and the ELISA test are negative at 4.5, 5.5 and 6 months can the person be free of HIV infection? Assuming no further exposures like unprotected sex or needle stick exposure or sharing needles with someone else then certainly if your combination test is negative after a period of 3 months of exposure you can safely assume that you are HIV negative. HIV1, HIV2 antibody test, is negative after 6 months is also safe to assume that you are HIV negative.

Dr. When one test using oraquick and it shows a broad line at control point and a faint line after two months of an expected exposure. Then after three months then test was done again using a different two different tests SD Bioline showed non reactive and alere determine test showed HIV negative. Which advise or results are more effective????

Après un risque de 2 semaine jai fait un test détermine de 4em génération, après 1 mois le même test et 6semaine le même test tous négatif et après 3 jours un test wantai qui es aussi négatif suis en sécurité car jai tjr la diarrhée et les mots de tête qui finissent pas aidé moi

Duo test (4th generation) after interval of 3 months if it comes negative then its almost that he is negative.. No further test needed
