Remove One Extra Pixel from Artboard Export | Illustrator CC Tutorial

In this Illustrator CC tutorial, I show you how to get rid of the one extra pixel that sometimes exports from Illustrator artboards. This is a silly bug that adds an extra pixel and exports the wrong size files. It's really an issue when Illustrator adds an extra pixel especially when working with pixel perfect graphics.

This is seriously the dumbest bug I've ever encountered. I was making a repeating pattern and driving myself nuts trying to figure out where this extra pixel was coming from! Thanks for the video. Much appreciated.

Thanks so much for this. To fix it I also had to set the reference point for the artboard position to the bottom left (using the little grid of nine squares to the left of the position coordinates on the artboard options) and then remote the .5 from the X and Y positions. It seems like it treats the position of the bottom left of the artboard as the true position for exporting.

For anyone still having issues (got rid of the decimals but it's still not working), try setting the artboard reference point to a corner (anything but center)
