Using The Google Pixel 6 Magic Eraser: Real Photo Experience

Stopped into my local Best Buy and saw they have both the new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro on display. Here is a demo of the New Magic Eraser Feature.

Ok this may be a dumb question but how does the software "know" what's behind the object you're erasing? Does it extrapolate based on the surroundings? If so I can see how that's work well in natural settings but not as well for manmade environments...

Umm so on my phone there is no tab that says "tools"

I'd like to see you put some fingers in the picture and then erase those to see if it "knows" what is behind your fingers and fixes it or if it's just like the "healing" tool in Snapseed/Photoshop.

Samsung has had this same thing for some time. It's called Object Eraser instead of magic eraser
