Pointillism is an art technique using small dots of pure colour, much like a photographic print is composed of many tiny dots.

here's a thought, I have never tried to draw glitter before, but I draw refletive effects very often;

I wonder if adding a bit of the surrounding colors would help with the effect? glitter is just sprinkles of plastic with chromatic surfaces after all
