I’ve been in low dose of generic Zoloft. It was the only drug after 8+ Years that helped me. I couldn’t use others bc they took appetite away and I have low blood sugar so must eat.
I don’t believe in the drugs helping except in time I became healthier. I know my body turned upside down once entering menopause. I don’t understand why the topic of depression, dark moods, exhaustion, mood swings, inability to cope, and many more problems, are not openly discussed frequently in many conferences, so it becomes a drive to truly instruct and nurture woman during such a tumultuous time for many women.
If you would be inclined to spread the insights to these life turbulent transitions, it would be extremely pioneering for the upcoming generations.
Women should have group talks about these subjects, not once a year but be able to attend weekly gatherings.
Thank you for reading this. I would love to talk with you about these topics.

I have tried Wellbutrin, Proxac, Zoloft and some other antidepressants but always wind up with serotonin syndrome after a month or so and also feel very suicidal. I get terrible anxiety, terrible jitters and insomnia and cannot sleep for days at a time, my heart also beats irregularly and the sweats, as well. All of these serotonin syndrome symptoms are too scary and I wind up getting off of these drugs, i do not believe antidepressants work. I dont know what to try now and my doctor also does not know what I should try. She thought Wellbutrin would be the answer, but after a month, I got the same suicidal feelings, even though this drug is not an ssri. Very strange. I also have Autism Spectrum Disorder, so maybe Aspies are not able to be treated for depression and anxiety? I do not know what to try next,
