They seen to be off by a factor of 190.
Leading me to think they actually meant 1 barrel of crude instead of 190 barrels.

For those people who like to call themselves environmentalist, they need to be aware that gasoline and all petroleum products listed here will never be replaced because we use so much more than just gasoline. The plastic alone are worth the value of the crude oil.

Diesel is easier to make but it yields less end product compared to gasoline, gasoline is harder to make but it yields way more product in the end

For everyone wondering how the total net products have more volume than the total Crude feed (in a crude unit). This is mostly due to thermal cracking of the Hydrocarbon molecules. Big CH chains are cracked into smaller chains (lower density products). Conservation of mass and lower density yeilds greater volume. Many other processing units also have a net differential in volumetric flow in vs out depending on the reactions taking place.

It takes 17 chemicals to make unleaded gas and only 3 to make diesel.
