Brenda Gundell's father died at age 39 due to extremely high cholesterol. The condition that Gundell's father had - familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) - is genetic, and Brenda was diagnosed with FH as well. Gundell has found a way to take care of her diet, exercise, and medication routine so that she can live a long life, despite the diagnosis.
