I absolutely love this pick up. I think he will be a very good fit for this team, much better than obj....IMO

EXACTLY!!!! I've said since the news broke that TY is a very low risk nothing to lose move and that he doesn't have to be great to be able to help this team for a handful of games. He's a savvy veteran that knows where to be and when to be there. He's not expected to be WR#1 or 2 just a reliable target that can be very effectively used in certain packages to give this team an extra weapon. I think if he's healthy and still has his wheels I believe he's the #3 for sure.

This is the best signing that could have happened. I do not trust OBJ at all.

Personally, I don't think it's a "BAD SIGNING", but I wasn't "BLOWN AWAY" by it, either.
Manly because of his age and where he currently is in his career.
It's a "GOOD THING" they don't need him to be "THE MAN!"
They have Lamb, A.K.A., G.O.A.T. and Gallup for that, plus they're running a lot of 2, 3, and even 4 TE SETS (have you seen those! They really have something with Schultz, Ferguson, Hendershot, and McKeon! "IF" Schultz insist on getting paid "BIG MONEY" this off-season, he will have to be replaced), and the TWO-HEADED RB MONSTER with Zeke and Pollard!

BUT:

"IF" Hilton can get "DEEP" regularly -
"IF" Hilton can "PULL" a SAFETY "OUT OF THE BOX" on some of those running plays -
"IF" Hilton can - even occasionally - DRAW ATTENTION "AWAY" from Lamb, A.K.A., G.O.A.T. and / or Gallup, it will be a "GOOD" / "GREAT" signing!

I just don't think he can do it at the level OBJ - when healthy - can!

SIDE NOTE:
The OBJ signing is still "ON THE TABLE" and don't be SURPRISED "IF" Dallas still signs him!
It's just they feel he won't be able to "HELP THEM" until at least Jan., hence the Hilton signing, who can "HELP" IMMEDIATELY!

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME:
I "FEEL" Dallas is close!

REAL CLOSE.

I just wish they would've made these "3 MOVES" to help put them "OVER THE TOP!"

1.) Signed DE / PASS-RUSHER / LB Von Miller!
What team wouldn't JUMP AT THE CHANCE to "TEAM UP" Miller with DE / PASS-RUSHER / LB Micah Parsons!

SMFH.

2.) Kept COOP or got a "ADEQUATE REPLACEMENT" sooner, instead of relying on a 3rd. round "ROOKIE" (Tolbert. That's asking WAY, WAY TOO MUCH) and signing WR James Washington, who was "ABOVE AVERAGE" with the Steelers and "COURTING" OBJ - in Dec!

SMFH.

3.) Traded for LB Roquan Smith!
He would "HELP" against some of those teams running on the Cowboys!

SMFH.

I "FEEL" PRETTY GOOD ABOUT THE COWBOYS, BUT:
"IF" they would've made these "3 MOVES", I would "FEEL" GREAT about them this year - and going forward the next couple of years, etc.

AS IT STANDS NOW:
I'm taking a WAIT AND SEE approach.
