In this video, community submissions for the March, #StellaCulinaryCookingChallange are reviewed by Chef Jacob. The challenge consisted of creating a pasta dish with 6 or less ingredients.

~~~~~~~STELLA FOOD CHALLENGE!!!~~~~~~~

"Alright, let’s have a little fun with this disaster. We are gonna call this the Quarantine challenge. In the spirit of lockdowns, closed or empty grocery stores and cancelled events... we want to keep it simple, so...let’s play quarantine:

••MAKE A PASTA DISH USING ONLY WHAT IS CURRENTLY IN YOUR KITCHEN. (you’re quarantined remember?)

••USE 6 ITEMS OR LESS. (“salt/pepper/oil” doesn’t count)
submissions will be taken until March 31st. then, April 1st we will hash through. This gives you 2 weeks!

You should be able to revisit this post anytime by clicking on “announcements” at the top of the page.

To submit your dish, come to this post and comment with description, pictures and your personal notes/comments.

Please leave this posts comment thread for submissions only. Any/all questions/comments can be written in their own posts... this helps us keep everything organized, easier to shuffle through and sort. We’ve learned it’s a real hassle digging out 20 submissions in a thread of 150 comments.

Hi Chef Burton I am so very happy I found your videos. You are a wonderful teacher. As a home cook I can definitely agree with the frustration you felt making those macaroons. I have felt so angry and disappointed more times than I can count even when I followed the directions to a tee. I was wondering is it possible for you to do a video on weekly meal/menu planning? I am currently struggling with that as a home cooking having a family to feed. I hope you see this comment thanks so much :)

Dang chef! You are looking great! Super inspiring that you've lost all that weight! I've missed you on YouTube, not to brown nose but out of my 200 odd subbed channels this is by far and away the best! An actual expert divulging professional level knowledge on people eager to learn! What I miss the most is the start to finish recipes from the mise through to pick up!
